Steve Nola, CEO of Dimension Data’s newly-formed cloud solutions business unit
(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — IT services provider and NTT Holdings subsidiary Dimension Data (dimensiondata.com) announced on Thursday it has named Steve Nola the CEO of its newly-formed cloud solutions business unit.
Nola has served as CEO of Dimension Data Australia since 2001.
The move follows Dimension Data’s acquisition of enterprise cloud services provider OpSource last month.
“Steve has been nominated to accelerate the Group’s cloud strategy based on his strong 22-year track record with Dimension Data as an executive and a leader with proven execution skills and ability to drive value,” said Brett Dawson, Dimension Data’s Group CEO. “Under Steve’s leadership, the Australian business has grown from revenues of $365 million in 2002 to over $1 billion today. Steve has also successfully transformed the Australian business from a reseller into an IT outsourcing and managed services-focused organization. in addition, with his experience in cloud architecture, telecommunications, services, and IT outsourcing, he is well-positioned to establish and grow Dimension Data&rsq uo;s global Cloud Solutions business.”
Nola will continue to retain executive oversight for Dimension Data’s businesses in the Australian region.
Rodd Cunico, Dimension Data’s southern region manager for the past decade, succeeds Nola as CEO of Dimension Data Australia.
He will be responsible for overseeing Dimension Data’s systems integration business in the region.
Both Nola and Cunico will assume their new responsibilities immediately.
